The Koh Samui International charity marathon took place on the 28th Feb 2010. It was an event held by the Intraflash Event company who are working to not only attract a wider range of tourism to the island, the Intraflash group are also raising money for sporting equipment for local schools and for the Samui Rescue team. The event not only had the full and half marathons for the hardcore runners, there was a 5k fun run/walk which made the event open to more people.
